Cinema

Our building also houses a disused cinema, which we are super eager to restore and open up again to the public.

Originally, it was part of a community building run by Skellefteå municipality. But eventually the house was sold by the municipality and fell into disrepair. Later on we were able to purchase it.

We have since restored much of the old community building, but this part lacks electricity & needs serious repairs.

After we have found our feet with opening & running the retreat in October 2026, we hope to turn our attention to applying for grants and investments to make this possible.

Our vision is to open a cinema to the public, plus hold special events such as video game playthroughs & competitions on the big screen. The stage is also fit for bands, theatre, and performances.
